Navy Enlistment

Hey guys, so I'm officially enlisting in the Navy and I'm hoping to set my DEPS date till the end of March. Right now I'm looking into nuclear engineering and master at arms (MP). I'm also learning about other positions and will list other possibilities later on. For right now, if you have any advice for me feel free to let me know here or on TS!

When you join the navy you better pray to god they dont send you to that shithole that we call afghanistan its not like the old days anymore. My uncle got ambush in his convoy with navy dudes in fucking afghanistan when the navy guys signed up for sitting in a battleship! Good luck though in the navy hopefully when i join it too you will be my instructer lol

I lived with a retired Senior Chief ...He was very cool. Navy is a great idea and I think you will like it. I want to join also but I am in the middle of taking care of my parents. My father was USAF ...My grandfather was US Army air ...My other grandfather ..a US Marine. They told me Navy is the way to go... especially if you like to travel ...

My Grandson is in the Navy. I showed him an Android App called MYNIGHTOUT.com It will show you what's happening in any city in the US and a lot of others around the world. BARS, Dancing, Shows, just about anything. Really kool app great for traveling.
