A new RPG is officially on the way with the announcement of Breakers: Unlock the World. This one comes from Vic Game Studios, who plans to show it off at Tokyo Game Show 2023 later this month. For now we'll have to make do with an announcement trailer. At 15 seconds long, it's a teaser in every sense of the word.

You may not get an idea of how this particular RPG plays, but you can see character models strolling by in the video below.

Library Quest

Here's what we know about the story behind Breakers: Unlock the World so far. The original RPG takes players to the ends of the earth on a journey to the Library of God. It's there that all the knowledge of the world awaits. The announcement says the cel-shaded rendering will make you feel like you're "playing an anime." Developer Vic Game Studios has some experience with that aspect. The team previously worked on Black Clover M: Rise of the Wizard King, a mobile game based on Yuki Tabata's Black Clover manga and anime.

There's no release date in place yet, but Breakers: Unlock the World is in the works for iOS, Android, and PC. Tokyo Game Show attendees will get to go hands-on at the Vic Game Studios booth this year. A playable build will be live beneath a massive LED display, so it'll be hard to miss. Tokyo Game Show 2023 goes down from September 21 to 24, and Vic promises more info on Breakers at a later date.
