With Link's Ultrahand, your creativity is tested in fun ways. Some players have spent enough time with the sequel to find as many glitches as possible and make the most of their exploration of Hyrule. Luckily for us, they have all been compiled in a handy document (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xNB1gOLZRSF9yp1mHUsS9ymogRJa1Wz8rTliTXezeRM/edit?pli=1#gid=0).

There are several reasons why you might want to rely on glitches and unintended ways of playing Tears of the Kingdom (https://www.destructoid.com/reviews/review-the-legend-of-zelda-tears-of-the-kingdom/). These tricks can be used for speedruns, which is something players have consistently gotten better at. With the right glitch, you can have Link sprinting without depleting his stamina and needing a breather. This also eliminates the need to find shrines and upgrade his stamina wheel.

For a little fun, try the Recall Launch glitch that can send Link flying. Not particularly useful, but it's entertaining to pull off. All you need to do is throw an item (preferably a boomerang), recall it, and quickly use Ultrahand to fuse it to a plank or any nearby object before jumping onto it. Link gets a free ride into the skies, and you can swoop down with your glider.

My favorite is the Spring Fall Damage glitch which allows you to fall from great heights without losing health or dying. It's performed by simply pressing ZR to enter bullet time when Link is about halfway down his fall. Following this, tap the B button and hold the forward one. Comes in handy when you unexpectedly fall while climbing or accidentally leap off a ledge.

Tears of the Kingdom is one of those games where the glitches aren't a product of terrible development but rather an indication of just how complex things can get once you master the mechanics. Despite having been released in May 2023, people are still finding glitches as late as December 2023 along with locations that most players don't visit. Recent glitches include the Bundled Item Duplication glitch, as well as the Ascend Camera glitch that repositions the camera far away from Link.

The compiled list is a long one with plenty you'll probably be interested in. However, some glitches have been patched out, so you'll have to check whether the glitch will work on your version. For this reason, if you plan on glitching, it's not a good idea to update your game copy, as it limits what glitches are available. This happened with the frozen meat glitch (https://www.destructoid.com/frozen-meat-glitch-axed-with-latest-tears-of-the-kingdom-update-v-1-2-0/) that was gone after a patch was released.

You may think you've explored Hyrule, but that's probably not the case. There are outfits to be found (https://www.destructoid.com/royal-guard-armor-set-locations-directions-tears-of-the-kingdom-totk/), new weapons to create, and an entire underground region to light up. All this makes Tears of the Kingdom a title you can enjoy for years to come.
