Talk about adorable! Two new Pok?mon (https://www.pokemoncenter.com/) Squishmallows are available for preorder and they?re the cutest thing ever. The two new Squishmallows recently went live for pre-order the Pok?mon Center website (https://www.pokemoncenter.com/) after an announcement of the new plushies earlier this year (https://twitter.com/squishmallows/status/1697279327769878562?s=20).

The Pok?mon joining the Pok?mon Squishmallow family are Clefairy and Teddiursa, two earlier-introduced species. Long-time fans of the franchise will be happy to see Generation I and Generation II characters as adorable plushies. Some of the other Pok?mon that have been featured as Squishmallows are Snorlax, Togepi, Piplup and various versions of Pikachu.

Clefairy is a Fairy type Pok?mon introduced in the first generation of Pok?mon in 1996 ('98 for North America). Teddiursa is a Normal type Pok?mon introduced to the franchise in Generation II, through Pok?mon Gold and Silver.*

Something fans may not know about Clefairy is that it?s an extraterrestrial Pok?mon, meaning that it isn?t from Earth. The bubbly pink Pokemon is best known for being cute, among many other creatures in the franchise. Teddiursa, on the other hand, is very down to earth. The little bear Pok?mon is known to have paws drenched in honey. For comfort when nervous, Teddiursa will lick its paws (cuteness overload, am I right?).

Squishmallows are a California-based stuffed toy business that specializes in turning popular video game and anime characters into adorable plushies. In 2022, the Pok?mon Company partnered with Jazwares to bring their franchise to Squishmallows. Since then, they?ve released loads of cute Squishmallows (https://www.destructoid.com/pokemon-squishmallows-have-arrived-at-sdcc/).

Currently, the Squishmallows are only available for preorder on the official Pok?mon website in the US for $29.99 apiece. Once live, the Squishmallows will take around 5-9 business days to ship. These 12-inch cuties also come with an embroidered Pok?mon Center Poke Ball logo.
