In what may be one of the most notable bombshells of the year, documents from the US Federal Trade Commission's case with Microsoft seem to have leaked Zenimax Media's upcoming game release schedule. Notable examples include Fallout 3 remastered, TES 4: Oblivion remastered, and Dishonored 3.

Though the chart was created in 2020, and could be outdated in today's terms, the schedule has directed a floodlight upon some of Microsoft's most notable (potential) future releases. This document was just released as part of the FTC's legal battle with Microsoft (https://www.destructoid.com/microsoft-wins-ftc-court-battle-over-69-billion-activision-blizzard-buyout/), and it was originally created ahead of Microsoft's acquisition of Zenimax Media.

In a statement (https://twitter.com/DouglasLFarrar/status/1704126699649028383), the FTC's Douglas Farrar says the commission "was not responsible for uploading Microsoft's plans for its games and consoles to the court website."

As Zenimax Media is the parent company to Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks, as well as Arkane Studios, id Software, and several others, it was par for the course that its planned future releases would get discussed during the acquisition talks. Now, though, the public has a look at the potential future ahead.

Is Bethesda working on remastering its classic RPGs?

According to the schedule, Zenimax and its companies were planning on a number of as-of-yet unannounced games back in 2020:

The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion remaster, set for the fiscal year 2022

Fallout 3 remaster, fiscal year 2024

Doom: Year Zero with DLC, fiscal year 2023 onwards

Ghostwire: Tokyo 2, fiscal year 2024

Dishonored 3, fiscal year 2024

Aside from these, the document also references

Indiana Jones title, fiscal year 2022

Project Kestrel and its DLC, fiscal year 2023

Project Platinum, fiscal year 2023

A mysterious "licensed IP game," fiscal year 2024

Naturally, these were all just informed estimates at the time of writing of the document, back in 2020. As Starfield has only just come out now, in 2023, it's possible everything mentioned in the featured doc is fully out of date. However, the odds are good that at least some of the referenced, but unannounced games are still in production, even if they did probably get pushed back by a few years.
