Oregon indie outfit has a suitable homePublisher Devolver Digital has announced (https://twitter.com/devolverdigital/status/1642950096353648640?s=20) that it has acquired indie developer Doinksoft, the Orgeon-based studio behind fun, silly, and popular releases such as Gato Roboto (https://www.destructoid.com/reviews/review-gato-roboto/), Demon Throttle, and the studio's current project, Gunbrella.
First announced in the summer of last year, Gunbrella is an apocalyptic noir adventure that sees a dangerous drifter crossing the badlands on a do-or-die odyssey of mystery and vengeance. Our anti-hero will seek such justice armed with little more than a mean attitude and an incredibly versatile rifle, which also doubles as a shield, a zipline, a floatation device and, of course, an umbrella.
Gunbrella is currently in development for PC and Nintendo Switch, and is tentatively scheduled to launch later in 2023.
