Is there such a thing as too much Ditto?The Pokemon Company has officially announced (https://sv-news.pokemon.co.jp/ja/page/84.html) the next Tera Raid event battle following the recent Samurott bout: and it's none other than Ditto.
The loveable blob returns from April 7 through April 10, and will take over many Tera Raid opportunities during that time (provided that you go online). It's a 5-Star raid, which isn't too impressive, and it has five max IVs...which also isn't too impressive (unless you need a Ditto with specific IVs). But hey, it's content in the eyes of Game Freak and The Pokemon Company.
If you don't have a Ditto yet (he can be hard to find in the early game (https://www.destructoid.com/where-to-find-ditto-in-pokemon-scarlet-violet/)), this event will probably be up your alley! If you do have one though, there's not much of a reason to pop in for a 5-Star raid.
That said, there is another known 7-Star Tera Raid on the way, as Samurott returns to the pair of games (https://www.destructoid.com/how-to-prepare-for-the-samurott-raid-event-in-pokemon-scarlet-violet/) from April 7 through April 9. That means you can hatch an Oshawott (https://www.destructoid.com/psa-you-can-hatch-a-oshawott-in-pokemon-scarlet-violet/) and grab all sorts of 7-Star raid goodies (https://www.destructoid.com/heres-some-info-on-the-pokemon-scarlet-violet-samurott-loot-moves-and-stats/) during that period. Oh, and the DLC is coming too (https://www.destructoid.com/pokemon-scarlet-violet-dlc-reveal-trailer-fall-winter-2023/)! This should be a pretty lively year for Pokemon once again, especially if you're still fiddling around with Pokemon Legends.
