The role itself, it should be noted, is not "King of Pokemon NFTs" or similar, and the description does not openly state that the role is purely metaverse or Web3-based. However, the listing pushes for a creative type who is open to looking at new technologies and paths to expanding and improving the Pokemon brand, which includes "monitoring and assessing technology and market players and trends in gaming, media and entertainment." The role is extremely high-ranking within the billion-dollar organization.

Should the critter company be progressing down the blockchain route, one can only assume that it has been inspired by all of the success the controversial technology has seen in recent times.
