Give it a tryMario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope (https://www.destructoid.com/reviews/review-mario-rabbids-sparks-of-hope-nintendo-switch-ubisoft/) kind of came and went for a lot of folks, but it made a good impression all the same. Odds are you were either on the fence about it or just had a lot going on four months ago (I know most of us on staff did with all the games that were being dumped!), but now you'll have a chance to check it out for free.
As of now, a demo is out on the Nintendo Switch eShop. The demo itself is fairly meaty, providing a glimpse of the intro to the game, as well as a chunk of the first area (Beacon Beach). This game still has life in it yet, as the Tower of Doom DLC is actually out today (https://twitter.com/MarioRabbids/status/1628802039923744769). More DLC is on the way too, including a Rayman add-on later this year (https://www.destructoid.com/seven-full-minutes-of-mario-rabbids-sparks-of-hope-gameplay-boss-battle/).
If you do decide to pick it up as a result of the demo, you also have the benefit of post-launch patches, which have smoothed over some of the game's bigger glitches (including a progress-halting bug for 100% completion).
