Capcom confirms it's bringing the remake to one previous-gen console tooThe Resident Evil 4 remake is targeting newer console hardware and PC. But today, Capcom confirms it is also bringing the next entry to the PlayStation 4.
During today's Tokyo Game Show 2022 presentation, producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi confirmed that Resident Evil 4 that the team had been looking into ways to bring RE4 to previous generation hardware. Because of that, Resident Evil 4 is now also in development for PS4. He doesn't mention Xbox One though, so it seems like that console's left off the list for now, at least.

Hirabayashi also confirms there is a Resident Evil Showcase planned for next month. No exact date has been set for that as of this writing.
