Niantic is back with Marvel's World of HeroesWho could forget Pok?mon GO? It still continues to do well (https://www.destructoid.com/pokemon-go-future-plans-next-decade/) to this day, but nothing will compare to that first summer where it took the world by storm. The game's developer, Niantic (https://nianticlabs.com/?hl=en), has had a few projects since, and now they've newly announced a collaboration with Marvel to create a game titled*World of Heroes.

The project was revealed today during the Disney x Marvel Games Showcase stream, and all we know so far is that it's coming sometime in 2023.*The trailer did include a website where players can go to pre-register, which will likely be up within the next day.

Like I said, the announcement (which I wouldn't even call a trailer because it was so short, to be honest) was pretty slim, but based on what we know of Niantic's games from the past, I think we can take a pretty educated guess as to what the gameplay will be like. I imagine you get to play as different heroes from the Marvel canon, as evidenced by the people in the trailer wielding the iconic weapons of characters like Thor and Doctor Strange.
From there, I could imagine there being bases you could visit in the real world, like the Pok?Stops in Pok?mon GO,*powerful items that you can find laying around the world, and I'm sure you'll be able to battle other players, of course. At this point it's pure speculation, so we'll have to see when the game finally drops... whenever that will be.
