Capcom says "demo save data is needed"Capcom just announced a Monster Hunter Rise bonus item pack (https://twitter.com/monsterhunter/status/1539692222932713480): and it has all sorts of extra consumables ready to go in it. The only catch is that you need to try the Sunbreak demo (https://www.destructoid.com/a-monster-hunter-rise-sunbreak-demo-is-coming-on-june-14/).
In case you weren't aware, Capcom announced the demo roughly a week ago during their "E3" showcase stream, and it went live on June 14. It features a selection of missions, including an ultra hard Malzeno showdown.
Here's the list of Monster Hunter Rise bonus items for playing the Sunbreak demo:
60 Mega Potions
15 Pitfall Traps
30 Energy Drinks
15 Mega Demondrugs
15 Mega Armorskins
Capcom also points out that you can get the demo directly here on Steam (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1836450/Monster_Hunter_Rise_Sunbreak_Demo/), or here on Switch (https://www.nintendo.com/store/products/monster-hunter-rise-switch/). Seems easy enough!
While veterans will likely bawk at the items you'll get here, newcomers will probably want to take them up on the offer if possible. Having a ton of free items at the start saves you a lot of time, as you can get by most of the early story content through Mega Potions alone: not having to craft them is a huge plus. And you'll have that surplus by the time you actually work your way up to the Sunbreak expansion.
