I have to admit, the idea of more civilizations and things to do, along with quality of life features, has me interested in potentially jumping back in. Also, the Summer Game Fest trailer reveal had another tidbit of info: the game is coming to consoles (https://store.amplitude-studios.com/en/humankind/humankind/humankind-heritage-console-edition) (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X) and "will be playable from day one on Xbox Game Pass."
The Humankind - Heritage Edition on Console will include:
Digital Game
Cultures of Latin America Pack
Cultures of Africa Pack
Notre-Dame Pack
As long as it turns out OK, that's probably where I'll jump back in. On Game Pass, no less! With some DLC to boot! Sounds like how a lot of people are experiencing games in 2022, given how overwhelming any given moment can be when something is actually released.
