Spidey is headed to PC Since its initial release back in 2018, Insomniac's Spider-Man (https://insomniac.games/game/spider-man-ps4/) has become one of the most well-loved games of the previous console generation. Of course, it's always been exclusive to the PlayStation, so PC-only players haven't been able to play as their favorite web-slinging hero -- that was, until now. During today's State of Play, Insomniac announced that a remastered version of Spider-Man will be available for PC on August 12, 2022.

The remastered version (https://www.destructoid.com/you-can-now-buy-spider-man-remastered-separately-on-ps5/) of the game was already made available back in 2020 when the PS5 was released (that's where Peter's notorious baby face (https://www.destructoid.com/peter-parker-has-a-new-face-in-spider-man-remastered/) came from), so we're not expecting anything all that new, but the fact that Spider-Man will be more widely acceptable is news enough, I think. I'll be looking forward to spending some more time in photo mode, which will hopefully look even better on some PC graphics, and I might even have to see if I can download a mod or two.
In addition to a port of Spider-Man's remaster, Miles Morales is also coming to PC, although the wait is going to be a little bit longer, because it's not coming until later this fall.
